Can I give a quote a project name?
Short answer
Yes. Open SettingsQuotes & ordersDefaultsNumbering and enable Show a reference after the quote/order number.
Name the field, then enter the project reference on each sale.
A reference allows 60 characters and appears on lists, documents, signing pages, email headers and the portal. It does not change the number; email subjects keep the bare number.
