What to know before you switch

Open the FAQ

What happens to our register?

OrderPilot runs inside Shopify POS on your showroom iPad and uses Shopify’s checkout. If you already use Shopify POS, it stays your register. If you use another register, selling through OrderPilot on the floor means moving to Shopify POS.

Can we take deposits without Shopify Plus?

OrderPilot’s deposit links work on any Shopify plan. Your customers can pay part of the order, and the balance stays tracked. Shopify Plus is required for percentage deposits in Shopify’s own payment terms.

Can we bring in our vendor catalogs?

OrderPilot imports product templates, options and prices from a spreadsheet in its own layout. Prepare the catalog in that format, then review the import report before applying it.

Will OrderPilot replace every system we use?

OrderPilot runs the made-to-order sale inside Shopify, from quotes and payments to purchasing, receiving and warranty service. It doesn’t provide payroll, customer financing, delivery capacity planning, route planning or a driver app. Check how your store will cover those jobs before retiring a system.

How do you keep these comparisons fair?

Each comparison links to the public sources behind our findings, including product sites and help centers. We identify partner features and add-ons. “Not found” means we couldn’t confirm a feature in public sources, not that the product can’t do it. We also explain where another product may suit your store better.
