How do I stop charging tax to a reseller?
Short answer
Record the reseller's certificate under Tax & resale on their customer profile, including the state, file and expiry date when applicable.
OrderPilot records that state's exemption in Shopify for orders shipping there. Tax exempt everywhere covers all states when that is the customer's recorded exemption.
Check the destination and tax treatment before placing the order.
