My customer lost their portal PIN. What do they do?

In the appCustomers and portalUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

Ask the customer to choose Email my PIN on the portal's PIN screen.

OrderPilot sends the PIN to the customer's address on file. After 5 wrong attempts, access locks for 15 minutes and a replacement PIN is emailed.

Consecutive locks double the wait, up to a day.

Where do I change my logo for emails and the customer portal?

Open SettingsBrandingCustomer portal and use Logo in the shared Brand section. In Frame your logo, position the image and check its Logo and Square mark versions, then click Apply and save. The kit supplies the logo across customer assets; each supported asset has its own placement controls.

Can the customer portal use my theme's fonts?

Yes. Under the Customer portal's Look > Fonts, choose Your theme's and save to read the fonts from your live theme. After changing the theme's fonts, use Refresh fonts.

If OrderPilot cannot identify them, choose Custom or OrderPilot fonts and check the preview before saving.

Can I add my own CSS to the customer portal?

Yes. Custom CSS accepts up to 20 KB of rules shared by the Customer portal, Quote request page and Request sent page. Open the section at the end of any of those assets' options, enter the rules and save.

Check all 3 pages afterward. The product-page options block has its own CSS under Online store settings.

Can I center the receipt logo without centering the portal logo?

Yes. Logo position is separate for the Customer portal, Quote request page, Request sent page and POS receipt. Choose Left, Center or Right on each asset and save.

The receipt starts centered; the customer pages start left-aligned. Quote PDF and email logo placement belong to their document or header designs.
