Does publishing an email send it to customers?
Short answer
No. Publish makes the email design available for future sends; it doesn't send a message by itself.
Save the draft, preview it, and publish when ready.
Customer sends still depend on a staff action or an automatic trigger. Previously scheduled emails retain the version chosen when they were scheduled.
