Can I preview an email with a real order before publishing?

Short answer

Yes. In the editor's Email preview, choose Desktop or Mobile, then Sample order or a recent quote or order.

The preview includes unsaved edits.

A test email is different: it uses sample order details even after a real-order preview, and it doesn't include a real portal link.

Yes. All assets shows previews of your current Branding draft, and Open in new tab opens an unsaved sample preview. The preview uses sample data, displays a Sample banner and expires after 15 minutes.

A new stocked variant starts with its PO unit cost even when ongoing Shopify cost publishing is off. Later updates follow Keep Cost per item updated for stocked products and publish only final costs. The initial value and the continuing publishing setting serve different stages of stock creation.
