Can I search quotes by product or SKU?

In the appQuotes and ordersUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

Yes. Quotes and Orders search matches product names and SKUs as well as customer details, order numbers, purchase order numbers and tags.

Every search word must match somewhere on the record.

If a search returns nothing, reduce the words and check the location, salesperson and status filters.

Will new product terms change an already signed quote?

No. A signed quote keeps the wording frozen when the customer signed it.

Updated category or product terms appear in current unsigned documents. If a customer-facing edit requires a new signature, the next agreement uses current wording, while the previous signed version stays available in Signature history.

Why does Add to Quote show on a product my rules exclude?

Add to Quote can remain visible because another rule group allows the product, publication is pending, or Shopify's cache is behind. Check Match across groups and any collection warning at SettingsOnline storeQuote eligibility.

A collection used by an active rule must be available on Online Store. After fixing it, click Check again; submission still checks eligibility.

Can I keep an option off the product page but still on the quote?

Yes. Turn on Hide on the online store for the option on the template's Online options page, then save. A required option needs a Starts as value before it can be hidden.

Online requests use that starting value, and staff can change it later. Hiding the control does not make its price confidential.

Can I quote some products and not others?

Yes. Set each OrderPilot template's online mode separately. For regular Shopify products, use rule groups at SettingsOnline storeQuote eligibility to control Add to Quote.

Groups can include or exclude products by tag, Shopify category or collection. Without rule groups, every regular product can show the quote button.
