Where do I set a vendor's build and transfer times?

In the appCatalogUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

Set vendor build and transfer times at SettingsPurchasing & accountingVendors.

Open the vendor and enter Build time (days) and Transfer to us (days) under Lead time, then click Update Vendor.

Use whole calendar days from 0 to 3,650; leave unknown durations blank. A made-to-order line adds these days to its slowest selected option and any customer delivery time.

Can I undo a change to a quote, template or vendor?

Yes. Open the record's Activity, choose Version history, and click Restore this version on the saved version you need. Review Current and After restore before confirming Restore version N.

Your role must be allowed to edit the record, and normal locks still apply. Restoring adds a saved version and keeps the later history.

What does No Vendor mean in the PO Workbench?

No Vendor means the grouped order lines have no vendor assigned, so their card cannot be selected for PO creation. Open the customer order, assign an active vendor to each affected physical line, and save. Reopen the PO Workbench to check the corrected vendor cards.

Does Save on a vendor card create the purchase order?

No. Save on a vendor card closes its editing form and keeps the preparation in the workbench.

To create purchase orders, tick the vendor cards, click Create POs, and confirm Create draft POs. Only that confirmation creates the numbered drafts.

Are new purchase orders sent to the vendor straight away?

No. The PO Workbench creates draft purchase orders with permanent PO numbers.

Open each draft, review its quantities, destination and prices, then use Send to vendor. The vendor receives nothing from draft creation alone.
