A shopper abroad sees prices in their currency. Is the quote in that currency?

In the appOnline storeUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

No. OrderPilot quotes are issued in your store's currency, even when a product page displays prices in the shopper's currency.

A Buy online template using quote requests shows a store-currency notice beneath its price line when those currencies differ. Review the quoted amount in the store currency before sending the offer.

Can website shoppers request a furniture quote without seeing a price?

Yes, OrderPilot's Request a quote mode lets shoppers choose options without visible prices and submit the configured products for staff pricing. Website quoting starts on Growth.

Unpriced requests show Price on request, and customers cannot sign or pay until pricing is released. Hiding a price on the page does not remove Shopify's prices from every feed or product-data source.

Do bundle changes change my template prices?

No. Bundle changes do not replace prices, costs or lead times set on a template.

A bundle passes on options, offered values and rules to templates that follow it. Change template-specific prices on the template itself, and check whether an option is locked before expecting other bundle changes to appear.

Do catalog price changes update quotes I already saved?

No. Saved quotes and drafts keep their recorded option prices and labels when the catalog changes.

Placed orders keep their sold details too. Re-picking an option value on a saved quote uses today's price, so make that change only when you intend to revise the offer.

Can a Dimensions option calculate a price from length and width?

No. A Dimensions option adds one flat charge when a size is entered; it does not multiply length, width or area.

Use a Number option for a price multiplied by one entered quantity. Dimensions still gives you 2 or 3 measurement boxes with shared units and permitted ranges.
