Why does a catalog product on a storefront request cost $0?
Regular Shopify products arrive on online quote requests at $0 so staff can set their quoted prices.
OrderPilot does not use the shopper's submitted price as the offer.
Review and price every catalog line before sending the quote or copying its sign link. Customers see Price on request, rather than a free product.

Yes, activating an OrderPilot product template creates a Shopify product. Tracked options create separate add-on products, and received finished configurations can have stock variants.
Draft templates do not sync. Manage the template's price and other managed fields in OrderPilot, because a later sync can replace direct changes to those fields in Shopify.

Where do I change the message after a customer requests a quote?
Edit Thank-you message under SettingsBrandingRequest sent page. Enter up to 300 characters, preview the wording and save. The message appears after the customer submits a quote request.
The portal's separate Footer message allows up to 500 characters and appears at the account-page bottom.
Do categories decide which options a product shows?
No. A template's options and bundles determine which choices it offers.
Categories group templates, set their Shopify product type, and carry warranty, terms, signature, deposit and commission rules. Assigning Linden Sofa to Sofas does not automatically add Fabric or Cushion Fill.
Does deactivating or deleting a template delete its Shopify product?
No. Deactivating a template archives its Shopify product, and deleting an unused template also archives the linked product. Existing orders, purchase orders and stock can still refer to its variant.
Stock or purchasing records can prevent template deletion; deactivate the template instead. Shared option products remain unchanged.
