- Does OrderPilot change my theme?No. OrderPilot does not edit your theme for you.
- I changed a template's options. Why doesn't the product page show it yet?A saved option change reaches the product page after template sync and Shopify's storefront cache refresh.
- Can customers buy a custom product with Add to cart?Not yet.
- Do I need both the options block and the app embed?Yes, use the options block and keep the app embed on.
- Do customers need an account to request a quote?Customers must sign in by default, but you can allow guest quote requests.
- Can a customer add a note to each item in their request?No. The online quote request has one **Anything we should know?
- Why can't my customer sign or pay their storefront request?A request containing a Request a quote template or regular Shopify product stays Being priced until staff release the offer.
- Why does a catalog product on a storefront request cost $0?Regular Shopify products arrive on online quote requests at $0 so staff can set their quoted prices.
- Can I change the Request a quote button text?Yes. Open the template's Online options and edit Request a quote button, using up to 40 characters.
- Why does Add to Quote show on a product my rules exclude?Add to Quote can remain visible because another rule group allows the product, publication is pending, or Shopify's cache is behind.
- A shopper abroad sees prices in their currency. Is the quote in that currency?No. OrderPilot quotes are issued in your store's currency, even when a product page displays prices in the shopper's currency.
- Can I keep an option off the product page but still on the quote?Yes. Turn on Hide on the online store for the option on the template's Online options page, then save.
- What's the difference between Explore only and Request a quote?Explore only lets shoppers configure a product, see its price, and copy or share a design link without requesting a quote or buying.
- Do customers see prices when they request a quote?Request a quote templates hide prices on their product page and show Price on request in the quote cart.
- Can shoppers pay for a custom product online today?Yes. When every item in the quote cart is a Buy online template, Place order creates the order and prepares Shopify checkout.
- My theme has several product templates. Which one needs the block?Add OrderPilot options to every product-page template used by your configurable products.
- Where do customers find their quote cart?Add Quote Cart Drawer or Quote Cart Badge to a suitable header section in Shopify's theme editor.
- Why does my template say Not published?Not published means the template is a draft or the store-wide product-template setting is off.
- Why is the price line greyed out?Request a quote mode hides prices, so Price line under the options and Price on each value are unavailable.
- Are Online options changes in the template's activity history?No. Saving Online options does not add a row to the template's Activity history.
- Why is a look greyed out?A look is greyed out when the option does not meet its requirements.
- I changed the option's look but one template still shows the old one. Why?The template has its own Custom look, which takes precedence over the shared option's Default look online.
- Does a design link keep the old price?No. A design link carries the selected choices, and opening it uses current prices.
- Can the options use my theme's fonts?Yes. Choose Use your theme's fonts and colours at Settings › Online store › Style of the options block, then save.
- Can I quote some products and not others?Yes. Set each OrderPilot template's online mode separately.
- Where do quote requests from my website go?Submitted website requests appear in OrderPilot's Quotes list and start unassigned.
- My product page says options aren't available online right now. What do I do?Check the template's active state, online mode and sync status, then allow Shopify's storefront cache to refresh.
- Why does my collection page show a price for a quote-only sofa?The app embed may be off, or the sofa may fall outside its covered quote-only product list.
- A customer bought a sofa at the base price with no fabric. How?Collection quick-add, search or another direct cart route can add a bare template product at its base price without collecting options.
- Does adding a product to the quote cart send a request to my store?No. Adding a product saves it in the quote cart on the shopper's device.
- Why is Place order missing when a customer adds another product?Place order is available only when every line in the quote cart is an order-enabled Buy online template.
- Can a shopper change their product choices before sending a quote request?Yes. On the quote request page, Edit choices returns the shopper to the product page to revise that item's configuration.
- Why are prices still hidden after I save a storefront quote?Saving internal prices does not end Being priced.
- Why does an excluded product still qualify for a quote?An Exclude condition applies within its own group.
- Why can’t I hide a required option online?A required option needs a Starts as value before Hide on the online store becomes available.
- Does reordering Online options change the order staff see too?Yes. Dragging rows in Online options changes the template's option order everywhere, including staff screens.
- Do new online-store defaults change my existing templates?No. Defaults for new templates supplies the starting online mode and price-line setting for newly created templates.
- Should a customer resend a quote request if the confirmation page fails?Check the customer's email and your Quotes list before asking them to send again.
- Does Request a quote remove prices from all Shopify product data?No. Request a quote hides visible prices on the product page, quote cart and covered product cards, but Shopify still retains variant prices elsewhere.
- Why does the template catalog still list products after I turn off online templates?The Quote Template Catalog block lists active templates with online modes independently of the store-wide template switch.
