How does a customer stop text messages?

In the appEmails and messagesUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

The customer replies STOP to stop OrderPilot texts.

STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT also opt out. To restart texts, they can reply START, YES, or UNSTOP.

Text and email preferences are separate, so stopping texts doesn't unsubscribe the customer from email.
