Short answer

Yes, when texting is available and set up.

Open a status's SMS notification, enable Send SMS Notification, and choose a template. Use Send test SMS and enter a phone number you control.

The test sends immediately with sample order data and goes only to the phone number you enter.

Text messages are included on OrderPilot Growth and Professional. Growth includes 500 texts per month per billed location, and Professional includes 1,000. Essentials does not include texts.

Text allowances are pooled across locations and reset each calendar month. A text longer than 160 characters counts as 2 or more, according to the pricing page.

How do I mark a PO sent that I emailed myself?

Open Send to vendor and choose Confirm as Sent in the composer after sharing the PO yourself. OrderPilot records Sent without emailing anyone. Use the action only when the vendor already has the purchase order; it records an outside send rather than delivering the document.
