Does deactivating or deleting a template delete its Shopify product?
No. Deactivating a template archives its Shopify product, and deleting an unused template also archives the linked product.
Existing orders, purchase orders and stock can still refer to its variant.
Stock or purchasing records can prevent template deletion; deactivate the template instead. Shared option products remain unchanged.

From other topicsWhy does my template product have new variants in Shopify?
Receiving a template configuration creates or reuses a Stock unit variant on the template's Shopify product. The base variant is Made to order; stocked variants identify exact finished configurations.
Receiving creates that stock identity, not placing the customer order. The customer-order line keeps its configuration history as a custom item.

Why can't I add New product… or From a template… to a PO?
New product… and From a template… require Manage the catalog and a new purchase order. Editing an already saved PO lets you add existing Shopify products instead. For a new template configuration, complete every required option before choosing Add to PO.
Why can't I add a template's Shopify product or an Add-On product on its own?
OrderPilot's template and add-on products must be sold through their configured template, with the customer's options selected. Add the template from Templates instead of adding its Shopify product as a plain line. Add-ons are not standalone items; keeping them within the template preserves the intended configuration and pricing.

I changed a template's options. Why doesn't the product page show it yet?
A saved option change reaches the product page after template sync and Shopify's storefront cache refresh. The delay can be minutes or hours.
Check the template's sync state before editing the same setting again. OrderPilot checks and recalculates a submitted request, so an old page does not set the final saved price.
