Should OrderPilot post cost of goods if another tool already does?

In the appSettings and integrationsUpdated 3 Nov 2026

Short answer

No. Leave Post cost of goods set to Don't post cost of goods when another connection already posts those entries into the QuickBooks company.

Before enabling OrderPilot's posting, verify that responsibility with the person handling your books.

Tick Nothing else posts cost of goods into this company only after confirming it.

If I change or delete a saved fee, do orders that already have it change?

No. Existing orders keep their own copy of a saved fee's name, amount and settings.

Editing, hiding or deleting the preset affects future selections. Review an existing order separately if its charge also needs changing.

Do catalog price changes update quotes I already saved?

No. Saved quotes and drafts keep their recorded option prices and labels when the catalog changes.

Placed orders keep their sold details too. Re-picking an option value on a saved quote uses today's price, so make that change only when you intend to revise the offer.

Does updating an email design change messages already scheduled?

No. A scheduled email keeps the design version chosen when it was scheduled. Publishing a newer template or changing the default email theme doesn't restyle that waiting message.

Review scheduled work separately when changing a design, especially if the update contains information those recipients need.

Can OrderPilot take over draft orders we already made in Shopify?

No, OrderPilot does not automatically adopt draft orders created separately in Shopify. Existing Shopify drafts remain managed there.

Create new configured quotes through OrderPilot when you want their product choices, signatures and vendor purchasing connected. Discuss existing open orders before switching workflows; do not assume installation imports them.
