Can I add my own fields to customers?
Yes. Use Add field in SettingsCustomersCustomer fields to add text, URL, number, date, yes/no, choice-list, or image information.
Choose the profile section and whether the field is Not shown, Shown, or Shown, editable on quotes and orders.

From other topicsWhat is the difference between options and order fields?
Options describe a product line and can add to its price; order fields collect information once for the whole quote or order. Fabric belongs on the Linden Sofa line, while Delivery floor belongs to the order.
Order fields never change the price. Options and order fields share one internal-name list, so each name can be used only once.
Why can't an order field be a Dimensions option?
Dimensions is available for product options only, because each set of measurements belongs to a product line. Create an option with Type set to Dimensions, then attach it to the template. Use an order field for information that applies to the whole sale without separate measurement boxes or size-range checks.

Why doesn't my order field show on the online quote request?
Online quote requests show only active order fields whose Location visibility is All locations. Open the field at SettingsQuotes & ordersOrder fields and check its visibility. If the field is archived, restore it before expecting customers to see it.

Why does Create Quote say a field is Required?
Your shop requires information that is still missing from the quote or order. Fill the fields marked Required, including any required Quote information fields, then try creating the sale again. POS cannot scroll to each missing field automatically.
Save as Draft lets you keep unfinished work while those details are still missing.
