Can a customer e-sign after I marked a paper copy signed?
Yes. After you record Signed on paper, the electronic signing methods remain available.
The customer can sign on the iPad or through their signing link, and that electronic signature replaces the recorded paper signature. Check the resulting Signed by confirmation before continuing.

Does a quote need to be signed before it becomes an order?
A signature is required when your shop's or template's rules require one. In the app, authorized staff can use Place anyway or Force Convert to Order for an eligible exception. Bypassing needs Bypass signature and deposit requirements plus the permissions for that action, and the exception is recorded.
Check requirements before continuing to payment on POS.
Why does Unassigned appear in my sales report?
Unassigned holds revenue that has no credited salesperson, so the salesperson revenue rows still add up to the report's total. Split sales contribute each person's sales-credit share to their row. Check the order's sales credit if revenue appears unassigned when your team intended to credit someone.

Why didn’t a pre-assigned role apply on someone’s first visit?
A pre-assignment needs the exact Shopify sign-in email, reported by Shopify as verified, and must exist before the person's first visit. Check those details.
If the person has already opened OrderPilot, set their role on Staff instead. Until an individual assignment applies, People without a role determines their access.
