Does editing a signed quote require a new signature?
A customer-facing edit can make the existing signature no longer apply to the current quote, in the app or on POS.
Changes to prices, quantities, options, fees, shipping or discounts can require a new signature. The earlier signed copy remains as superseded evidence; check Re-Sign and have the customer sign the updated agreement.

From other topicsCan a rejected quote be signed?
No. A rejected quote cannot be signed; the customer sees This Quote has been rejected and can no longer be signed. Check the quote's rejection and resolve the underlying record issue before arranging approval.
Sending the same link again doesn't make the rejected quote available for signing.

Does editing a customer field on an order change the customer profile?
Yes. A customer field marked Shown, editable on quotes and orders saves back to the Shopify customer. The value belongs to that customer's profile, rather than only to the sale you have open.
Choose Shown in customer field settings when staff should read the value without editing it from an order.

Can I edit a quote after the customer has signed it?
Yes, you can edit a signed quote in OrderPilot, but customer-facing changes can require a new signature. Changes to products, options, quantities, prices, fees, shipping or discounts can show Re-Sign.
Save the changes, check the badge, and send a new signature request. The earlier signed agreement stays in Signature history as Superseded.

Why does this quote say it needs a signature?
A quote needs a signature when a product requires one, a signature request reaches the customer, or an edit invalidates an earlier signature. A product can follow its category's requirement or have its own rule. Check Missing before order placement to see what the sale still needs.
