Does a quote reserve a finished stock unit?
Short answer
No. Quotes do not hold stock.
A finished stock unit is held when the order is sent to Shopify. Customer-linked template units are held when received for an existing order.
Check the hold result before promising that a particular showroom piece is reserved for the customer.
