Do rejected units get a share of freight?

In the appInventory and costsUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

Rejected units normally receive no share of a whole-PO charge; the units you keep carry the freight.

OrderPilot allocates across ordered quantities minus rejected units.

If every covered unit is rejected, the allocation falls back to ordered quantities. Review the charge and receipt adjustments when rejection changes which goods bear the cost.

Why can Freight be added only once?

OrderPilot allows each supplied fee—Tariff Surcharge, Freight and Installation—once per order in the app. For a separate second charge, create a saved fee with a different name. Use a name that tells staff and the customer what the additional charge covers.

Can a rejected quote be signed?

No. A rejected quote cannot be signed; the customer sees This Quote has been rejected and can no longer be signed. Check the quote's rejection and resolve the underlying record issue before arranging approval.

Sending the same link again doesn't make the rejected quote available for signing.

Can rejected units be replaced on the same purchase order?

Yes, while the PO remains eligible for receiving, including Received, some rejected. Enter replacement units manually under Receiving now on the line marked rejected, can be replaced.

If every unit was rejected, the PO becomes Rejected and replacements need a new PO. A line already assigned to a replacement PO must be received there.

Does an enforced vendor minimum include freight and tax?

No. An enforced vendor value minimum uses the goods subtotal, excluding shipping, tax and landed-cost charges.

An unknown item cost blocks sending when that value minimum is enforced. Drafts can still be saved below the minimum; correct the items or costs before sending.
