Does giving someone sales credit let them see the order?
Sales credit alone does not grant access to an order.
For a role limited to assigned records, the primary salesperson owns the record and determines that access.
Adding someone as a secondary salesperson does not make them its owner. Use Make primary and save when you intend to hand over ownership, with the required reassignment permission.

From other topicsCan customers pay with store credit?
Yes. Choose ••• > Apply store credit and enter an amount within the customer's available credit and the balance due.
A draft can use partial credit on any Shopify plan. A placed order allows partial credit on Shopify Plus; without Plus, the credit must cover the whole outstanding balance.
Someone else changed the PO while I was editing. What now?
Click Reload purchase order, review the latest version, and enter your intended changes again. OrderPilot refuses the older save so it cannot overwrite another person's update. Unsaved edits on the old PO page are not kept, so note the changes you still need before reloading.

Does rejecting damaged goods create a vendor credit?
No. Rejecting goods records the rejected quantity and reason; it does not create a vendor refund or credit.
Keep rejected units out of accepted stock. Arrange the replacement or credit with the vendor, then record any later cost correction against the relevant goods.

Can someone copied on a quote email open the customer's portal?
Yes. Everyone copied on a customer email gets the same portal link and PIN as the customer, so copy only people who may see that quote or order. Check salespeople, automatic shop copies and the recipient fields before sending.
If access went to the wrong person, Disable all existing portal links in Portal access stops every link sent so far.
