From other topicsDoes assigning an Inbox conversation change the order's salesperson?
No. The Inbox assignee is separate from the order's owner, its primary salesperson. Assign the conversation to an eligible teammate when they should handle the messages.
Only people who can reply to that conversation appear in the assignee list. Changing ownership of the sale is a separate action requiring order reassignment permission.

OrderPilot automatically copies the order's salespeople on customer order emails so they can follow the sale. When sending an email manually, review Cc and remove anyone who should not receive that message. Check the shop's Copies of customer emails settings too if other unexpected addresses appear.
