Should I track inventory for every fabric or finish option?
Track an option only when you buy and hold its values separately from the main product.
A tracked value becomes its own Shopify line and purchase-order row.
Leave tracking off when Fabric or Leg finish only describes the piece the vendor makes. Dropdown, Swatch and Number support the documented tracking workflow; Dimensions cannot track stock.

From other topicsCan I see which fabric and finish combinations sell most?
Yes. In Profit, Best-selling configurations groups lines from the same template with exactly the same options. Choose Rank by Units, Revenue or Profit, or use View all configurations for the full grouping and export.
Only template lines form these groups; try a longer period or All stores if none appear.

How do I show a product's selected options in an email?
Turn on Show each item's choices in the email's Line items block; the setting starts off. Preview a quote containing options, such as Olivia Bennett's Linden Sofa with Sage Velvet, to check the result. Save and publish the draft when the item details are ready for future customer emails.
Why are my statuses or options empty after installation?
OrderPilot can still be finishing setup after your first sign-in, so starter statuses and options may appear a moment later. Reload in a minute and check the list again. Once the records appear, add your own category, vendor and template to complete the setup checklist.
Why didn't my Shopify inventory change after receiving?
Check the PO's stock-update message, the receiving location, and Shopify's Reserved quantity as well as Available. Customer-linked template units are held for the order, so they may not increase available stock. If the PO shows Stock not updated in Shopify, correct the listed error and use Retry with Receive items permission.
