Can I reopen a cancelled purchase order?

In the appPurchasingUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

No. Cancelling a purchase order removes it and its stored attachments, and OrderPilot cannot undo that cancellation.

Linked customer lines become available for purchasing again. Create a new PO if the goods are still needed, and tell the vendor which document they should follow.

Does lead time print on the quote or the purchase order?

No. OrderPilot's calculated lead times do not appear on quote PDFs or purchase orders.

The full order calculation is shown in the app, and is also absent from POS, emails and the customer portal. A template's slowest option lead time can appear online when Show lead time is on.

Do vendor minimums stop me creating a purchase order?

No. You can save a draft purchase order below the vendor's minimum. An enforced minimum blocks sending until the quantity or value is met; an unenforced minimum gives a warning.

Minimums are checked per purchase order. An enforced value minimum also blocks sending when an item's cost is unknown.

Can a customer reply reopen a closed conversation?

Yes. A new customer or vendor reply reopens a closed Inbox conversation. Closing marks the current conversation as finished; it doesn't block future messages.

Staff can also choose Reopen themselves. After a staff reply, an open conversation moves to Waiting, then returns to Open when the customer answers.

Will cancelled emails send after I fix the problem?

No. Cancelled emails don't resume automatically after the cause is fixed. Changing the sending domain, turning customer email off, or losing subscription coverage can cancel waiting messages.

Read the cancellation reason in Delivery activity, correct it, and send or schedule the intended message again if the customer still needs it.
