Do new online-store defaults change my existing templates?
No. Defaults for new templates supplies the starting online mode and price-line setting for newly created templates.
Existing templates keep their own choices. Open an existing template's Sales channels and Online options to change its mode or presentation, then save.

What happens to my templates when I delete a category?
Deleting a category removes that category from its templates; the templates themselves remain. Direct subcategories move to the top level.
Affected Shopify product types are re-synced or cleared if no category remains. OrderPilot does not check whether templates use the category before deletion, so review those templates first.
Do bundle changes change my template prices?
No. Bundle changes do not replace prices, costs or lead times set on a template.
A bundle passes on options, offered values and rules to templates that follow it. Change template-specific prices on the template itself, and check whether an option is locked before expecting other bundle changes to appear.
Is Required set on the option or on the template?
Set When ordering to Required or Optional on the bundle or template. The shared option page has no Required control. A bundle also offers Inherit, which uses the option's stored Required setting; choose an explicit requirement when staff must complete the choice.
