Why does a template say Live while its Shopify pictures are missing?

In the appCatalogUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

A picture failure does not fail the whole template sync, so Live can appear before every image reaches Shopify.

Save the active template to queue another sync, or use a retry action when shown.

A Shopify File still being prepared waits for a later sync. External HTTPS image links imported by CSV do not transfer to Shopify products.
