Why isn't the POS receipt listed under Apply this look to all assets?

In the appBrandingUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

The POS receipt is excluded from Apply this look to all assets because its printing controls are separate.

Open SettingsBrandingPOS receipt to adjust its supported settings. Its logo still comes from the location or shared brand kit, but copying the customer-page look does not restyle the receipt.

Should freight go on the PO or on a receipt?

Use a PO charge when freight covers goods across the whole purchase order, and a receipt charge when it belongs to one delivery. PO charges are shared across their selected goods as units arrive.

Receipt charges split by value across the covered units in that receipt. Choose the scope before entering the amount.

Will changing the planned PO cost fix an earlier receipt?

No. Changing the planned cost of goods still to come leaves earlier receipts at their recorded costs.

Use Force edit costs > Also correct what was received for an earlier receipt, then enter Reason for change and save the adjustment. A corrected vendor invoice needs a received-cost correction, not only a planned-price edit.

Why is no order listed in the PO Workbench?

The PO Workbench lists eligible orders at the chosen Fulfillment Location with physical items still needing purchase orders. Check the location, the orders' status eligibility, existing PO allocations and stock coverage. Use Standalone PO only when buying stock without linking customer orders.

Why can't I change a received count on a receipt?

A template received into Shopify stock cannot have its accepted count changed through receipt editing. Correct its stock count in Shopify, and receive additional template units through the PO.

Other eligible receipt corrections can use Receiving history > Edit, with a Reason for change. Sold or allocated units also limit reductions.
