How do I update template prices by CSV without clearing other details?

In the appCatalogUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

Remove columns you do not intend to update, and keep the existing template handles.

Omitted columns preserve their current values.

With updates enabled, blank cells in present columns can clear details such as descriptions, costs, images, terms and overrides. Use Upload and check, then review every blank-clear warning before Apply import.

If I change a template's price, do open quotes update?

No. Saved quotes retain their saved line and option prices when you change the template's pricing. There is no automatic warning that those prices have changed.

Re-select an option to use its current price, or use the line's Pricing controls to review an allowed adjustment before saving the quote.

Which details can I put in an email?

Insert detail offers 5 groups: Document, Customer, Store, Totals, and Purchase order. Available details include the document number, customer name, portal link, deposit amount, balance due, and vendor name. Use the picker instead of inventing a field name.

Vendor name is empty in customer emails because it belongs to purchase-order emails.

Where are the email templates in Settings?

Email designs and subjects are in SettingsBrandingEmails. Sending setup, recipients, reply routing, quick replies, and delivery history are under Messages & notifications. Use Branding to change an email's content or appearance.

Use Messages & notifications to change sending or investigate delivery.

Can I undo a change to a quote, template or vendor?

Yes. Open the record's Activity, choose Version history, and click Restore this version on the saved version you need. Review Current and After restore before confirming Restore version N.

Your role must be allowed to edit the record, and normal locks still apply. Restoring adds a saved version and keeps the later history.
