Can we bring a furniture catalog into OrderPilot from a spreadsheet?

Getting started and supportUpdated 4 Nov 2026

Short answer

Yes, OrderPilot imports product templates, options and values from a CSV using its defined layout.

Start with the starter CSV or an export, prepare the required categories and locations, then check the import report before applying changes.

The import does not create categories, brands, locations or bundles. An arbitrary supplier spreadsheet needs mapping to the supported columns.

Do catalog price changes update quotes I already saved?

No. Saved quotes and drafts keep their recorded option prices and labels when the catalog changes.

Placed orders keep their sold details too. Re-picking an option value on a saved quote uses today's price, so make that change only when you intend to revise the offer.

Is OrderPilot suitable for a single furniture showroom?

Yes, OrderPilot supports a single showroom selling custom furniture through Shopify. Your team can configure products, write quotes, collect signatures and payments, and prepare vendor purchase orders.

You do not need multiple stores to use those workflows. Essentials covers up to 3 billed locations; choose a higher plan when you need its additional features.

Does OrderPilot work for an online furniture store without a showroom?

Yes, OrderPilot supports website quote requests and order management in Shopify admin, so showroom selling is optional. Customers choose product options on your Shopify website and send a request for your team to price.

Website features start on Growth and need theme setup. Confirm the available purchase route before planning direct checkout for configured products.

Can we sell stocked products and made-to-order furniture together?

Yes, OrderPilot combines regular Shopify products and configured product templates on one quote or order. A stocked chair can sit beside a sofa ordered in the customer's chosen fabric. Each line keeps its own product details and pickup or delivery choice, so the customer can take available items home while waiting for others.
