Why does my template say Rule ignored?

In the appCatalogUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

Rule ignored means the rule's controlling option is missing or no longer a Dropdown or Swatch.

The dependent option remains visible instead of applying that rule. Edit the rule to reference a suitable option still on the template, or restore the controlling option's type.

Can I undo a change to a quote, template or vendor?

Yes. Open the record's Activity, choose Version history, and click Restore this version on the saved version you need. Review Current and After restore before confirming Restore version N.

Your role must be allowed to edit the record, and normal locks still apply. Restoring adds a saved version and keeps the later history.

Why does my template product have new variants in Shopify?

Receiving a template configuration creates or reuses a Stock unit variant on the template's Shopify product. The base variant is Made to order; stocked variants identify exact finished configurations.

Receiving creates that stock identity, not placing the customer order. The customer-order line keeps its configuration history as a custom item.
