Can my own connection move orders into a built-in status such as Ready to Ship?

Short answer

Yes. Your connection can move an order into any active status, including a built-in status such as Ready to Ship.

A custom starting stage needs its own outgoing connections: OrderPilot's purchasing movements do not automatically start from statuses you add. Test the route and publish the map before expecting it to run.

Does restoring an order also restore its old status?

No. Restoring a quote or order leaves its status, review flag, customer's current profile and costs unchanged. The comparison shows which saved fields will change.

Normal saving rules still apply, and restoring a changed agreement can require another customer signature. Review the comparison before confirming the restore.

Which order statuses can go on a purchase order?

Any status with Eligible for purchase orders ticked can supply orders to the PO Workbench. New stores start with Quote, Order, Partially Sent to Vendor and Reorder needed eligible. Your store can rename statuses or change eligibility in SettingsQuotes & ordersStatuses.

Can I change the status of several orders at once?

Yes. Tick the intended rows in Quotes or Orders, choose Change status, then confirm the destination and record count. You need Change order status; leaving review or converting quotes can require additional permissions.

Hover over a greyed destination for its reason, and check the completion count afterward.

I changed my Shopify theme's colors. Does OrderPilot follow?

No. OrderPilot reads theme branding during installation and does not continually follow later theme changes. Choose Update from theme in Branding, select the values you want, click Use these, and save.

Values you set yourself start unticked. The import does not replace your email templates or PDF themes.
