Why was my serial number refused?
A serial is refused if it duplicates another unit's serial for the same product, exceeds 100 characters, or belongs to an unfulfilled unit.
Already assigned to Order identifies the existing order and unit. Check the physical serial and existing assignment before correcting either record.
If another staff member changed the serial, close and reopen the dialog first.

From other topicsCan I enter serial numbers on POS?
No. POS shows recorded serial numbers and a Serial needed badge in Fulfillment details, but serial numbers are read-only there. Have staff enter the required numbers in OrderPilot inside Shopify admin.
Return to fulfillment details to check them before handing the item over.

Why did my quote number change?
OrderPilot can replace a quote's Shopify draft number with the Shopify order number when the sale is placed. The previous number remains beside it as formerly, and either number finds the sale in search. Stores using custom numbering can see a different pattern because a custom order number takes priority.
Why does POS refuse a 555 phone number?
The POS customer form rejects US 555 phone numbers. Enter the customer's real number with a country code in E.164 format, or clear Phone if you do not need it. Check the required name and email fields as well before saving the customer.
