Can customers see my internal statuses?
Hidden internal statuses are not shown, but a visible status without a customer group can appear on the customer's order page.
Grouped statuses show the group's name and customer message instead. Turn off Visible to customers for a private stage; customers then keep seeing their last visible status.

From other topicsCan two statuses send the same email?
No. An email group can be assigned to at most one status. To use the same design for another status, copy the template into a separate group and assign that group's status.
Check the group's sending line afterward; moving a status assignment changes which group sends for that status.

Why are my statuses or options empty after installation?
OrderPilot can still be finishing setup after your first sign-in, so starter statuses and options may appear a moment later. Reload in a minute and check the list again. Once the records appear, add your own category, vendor and template to complete the setup checklist.

Can the vendor see my internal PO notes?
No. Internal notes in the vendor conversation are never emailed to the vendor.
Internal Notes on the PO are also separate from vendor-facing instructions. Use Vendor Notes for wording that must print on the PO PDF, and check the document before sharing it.
