Why don't I see the Move button for held units?

In the appPurchasingUpdated 2 Nov 2026

Short answer

Move is offered for template units held for a live customer order at a different location, after all units that order needs have arrived.

Your role needs Receive items, and the destination must be subscribed.

Catalog products and tracked options do not use the move action. Pending, failed or incomplete holds can block the move.

Why does the button say Take Payment instead of Take Deposit?

Take Payment appears when the amount due now includes more than a deposit, such as items leaving with the customer today. Take Deposit appears when only the deposit is due.

Review Due now on Pickup or Delivery? before continuing so the amount matches what the customer takes home.

Why does the payment button say Create Order?

Create Order means the sale has payment due later and no deposit due now. Tapping it places the order in Shopify without collecting money.

Complete any required signature before continuing. The balance remains outstanding and must be collected later.

Why is the payment button greyed and reading Paid in full?

Paid in full is greyed out because the balance due is $0 and there is nothing more to collect. A valid zero-total sale can show the same state. Check the sale's paid amount and balance before attempting another payment.

Why is the Create Quote button greyed out?

Hover over Create Quote to see which requirement is missing. Creation needs a customer, a specific location and at least 1 product; a fee alone does not count. Shopify product details must finish loading, and every line needs a vendor if your shop requires one.

Complete required options and order fields before creating the quote.
